The Paris P.I. recently reported that the Grove Tower Advisory Committee met on Feburary 3rd to continue discussions on the fate of the Grove Tower. A recommendation was made at the meeting naming the City of Paris “a logical candidate” to take over temporary stewardship of the historic former high school campus from the Henry County School System. A number of other options were discussed regarding ownership of the property, such as a non-profit or foundation. The Save the Grove...
We were relieved to learn that there are now serious efforts underway to save the tower! There was a meeting on Aug. 21 which was well attended and supported by a number of speakers.
