John D. Richardson of Grayling, Michigan, passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 86. He will be buried at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery on August 21, 2021.
Mr. Richardson was born on November 7, 1934, in Paris, Tennessee, to John and Ruth Richardson. He married Patricia Joan Richardson and she preceded him in death.
John D. Richardson graduated from E. W. Grove High School in Paris, Tennessee. He served in the Army and the National Guard. After he left Paris, he lived in Traverse City, Detroit, and Warren, all in Michigan.
Mr. Richardson is survived by three grandchildren: Jade Ladicks and Amber Corcoran, both of Traverse City, MI, and Aaron Corcoran of Grayling, MI; two great-grandchildren, Dallas Corcoran and Cota Ladicks; and one great-great-grandchild, William Daly; a sister, Margie Richardson Paschall Perkins, of Olive Branch, MS; and nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Shannon Corcoran, and his sister, Johnnie Williams.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska, Mich.
