Martha C. Foster, age 71 of Paris, TN passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at St. Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 10, 2021, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Collier officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:30 AM Sunday prior to the service at 2:00 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Pallbearers for Ms. Foster will be Trey Foster, Houston Smethwick, Austin Maxey, Timmy Nored, Brad Washburn, and Jamie Tuck.

Martha Carol Foster was born December 10, 1949, in Paris, TN to the late James Everette Nored and the late Addie Lou Ray Nored. Martha was a 1967 graduate of E. W. Grove High School.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Amy (Kevin) Smethwick of Palmersville, TN; her son, James Dancil (Jennifer) Foster of Dresden, TN; one sister, Glenda Wright of Martin, TN; two brothers: Mike Nored of Nashville, TN, and Terry (Jackie) Nored of Rayville, LA; five grandchildren: Lauren (Austin) Maxey, Houston Smethwick, Lauren Lyles, Trey Foster, and Liddia Foster; two great-grandchildren: Piper Maxey and Mace Foster; longtime friend and companion, Larry Ashlock; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by four brothers: Lowell Nored, Duaine Nored, Gary Nored, and Phillip Nored.

Ms. Foster was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
