On October 18, 2021, John “Jack” Porter Lasater III, 87, went to be with Jesus.
He loved his upbringing in Paris, TN, and had many wonderful memories of the friends and family he grew up with there. His ancestors had been integral residents of Paris for many generations.
Jack was a member of the Grove High class of 1952 and one of the original folks who consulted with Buddy Dancy regarding this website. We are thankful for his contributions.
Jack leaves behind his beloved wife Claudia, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter Kim, of Lago Vista, TX; son John, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and daughter Sarah, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
His body was donated to Genesis Legacy of Life in Memphis.
Jack will be buried at his home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held for close friends and family. If you would like to be notified, please send an email to Jack’s son John at jklasater1@gmail.com.
