Our 1949 classmate, Horace Whitehead, passed away in Paris on Tuesday, September 17th. Our condolences to his family and friends. Elizabeth Brooks Hamlin, age 88 of Henry, TN, died Monday, June 14, 2021. She attended Springville, Atkins-Porter, and Grove schools in Henry County, graduating from Grove in 1949. Elizabeth began working at Commercial Bank before marriage, and later as a civilian, she worked for the USAF for 25 years. Retired Brigadier General Roland L. Parkhill, age 88 of Paris, TN, died Friday, October 9, 2020, at his residence. He was born in Paris on June 11, 1932, to his parents, the late R.L.
