I hope this message finds everyone happy and healthy. Finally we have some good news to report!
Members of the Class of ’62 are planning a 60th reunion. A luncheon will be held at Moustos Pasta-Grill at 1305 E Wood St. on Saturday, September 17th. We are working on a group rate that would cover the 16th and 17th at the new Hampton Inn at 1540 Mineral Wells Avenue. It will be a great time to catch up. Although the luncheon is the only formal event, some of us will be around longer as well. If you are a member of the class, a family member or from another Grove class and just want to come visit with us, we hope you will be able to join us.
What we would like from you now is an indication of if you will be able to attend or not and if so, how many nights you will need at the hotel. We will get back to you soon with more details and hopefully a booking code for a special rate, so please stand by for that. You can let us know via email to 62@ewgrove.com. In other news, our project to assure that all our classmates who have passed are memorialized on the FindAGrave website and posted into their respective Grove Virtual Cemeteries is making great progress. With the help of Susan Stewart, our resident FindAGrave expert, we have been able to complete several classes already. You can find all our virtual cemeteries to date here.
