We could not let the day pass without noting that our Facebook page passed a notable mark today with a total of 600 users. We really appreciate you all and are glad that so many stay in touch. On behalf of Becky, Susan and myself, thank you for your participation. We appreciate the photos and stories you share and the gratitude you have shown for this venture.
Recently, we made a slight tweak to our rules and now allow family of former Grove classmates to join. If you know others who may be interested in exploring the history of Grove or keeping up with what we do, please let them know about the Facebook group and our website. For those not on Facebook, we also have a mailing list which now receives a copy of all posts to the website.
We do not know the exact date when the website began, but sometime about 30 years ago, Buddy Dancy had the idea to create it. Encouraged and helped by a group of friends, the site has grown over the years, having now expanded to Facebook. We hope the work we do would make him proud.
