Sandra K. McNutt MathisSandra K. McNutt Mathis, age 79 of Paris, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at AHC of Paris. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 19, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Trent Bullock of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow the service in Maplewood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Chad Forrester, Tyler Holt, Sam Hutson, Johnny Foust, Mark Watkins and Timmy Williams.

Visitation for Mrs. Mathis is scheduled on Sunday, after 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Sandra K. McNutt Mathis was born April 28, 1942 in Paris, Tennessee to the late William O. McNutt and the late Irene C. Lampkins McNutt. She was a 1960 graduate of E.W. Grove High School. She married Crockett Mathis on February 4, 1961 and he survives in Paris. Sandra is also survived by her daughter, Lori (Chad) Forrester of Dresden; son, Randy (Beth) Mathis of Paris; sister, Peggy (Reed) Shepherd of Paris; grandchildren, Katelyn (Tyler) Holt of Knoxville, Hannah (Sam) Hutson of Puryear and Maci Forrester of Dresden; great granddaughter, Mattie Holt; and by nieces, nephews and other family members.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Mathis is also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy McNutt and his wife Carolyn.

Mrs. Mathis was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. She was the bookkeeper at Henry County High School for many, many years. Sandra loved her family, her lunch bunch, shopping for antiques and feeding the birds.
