Mrs. Gordon Paschall, 206 Wynn Street, died at Henry County General Hospital this morning at about 7:30. She was 56.
Mrs Paschall suffered what was apparently a massive stroke about 2 a.m., and she was rushed to the hospital, where she died without gaining consciousness.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway’s LeDon Chapel. The body is at the funeral home.
A native of Henry County, Mrs. Paschall was the former Mary Robbye Hill. She was born October 23, 1914, the daughter of Mrs. Henry Hill and the late Mr. Hill.
Mrs. Paschall was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Grove High High School (1933). She was a former employee of Paris Manufacturing Co.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon D. Paschall; her mother, Elizabeth Blackburn Hill; one daughter, Mrs. Kent (Bettye) Gamlin, and three grandchildren, Lane, Lisa and Lance Gamlin, all of Paris.
