We were very pleased to see the latest positive movement in efforts to save the Grove Tower. Last month, the Save Grove Tower Association presented to the Board of Education of Henry County Schools, resulting in a unanimous vote to form a Grove Tower Advisory Committee. This committee will be tasked with the creation of an engineering study of the building.
The committee is chaired by Russ Orr, a member of the school board. Many of you have expressed an interest in this project and even a willingness to support it financially. We look forward to providing a link through which contributions can be made to the Tower Association charity. We will keep you informed!
