| Former Midland-Ross factory
employee John W. Wilson, 63, of Paris died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at his
residence. The body was cremated. A service will be scheduled at a later date. No visitation has been planned. Ridgeway Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Born in Paris on Nov. 2, 1946, he was a son of Frances Bucy Wilson of Paris and the late Waddell Wilson. Wilson worked at Midland-Ross in Paris. He was a member of the church of Christ. A Vietnam veteran, he received the Commendation Medal and was a member of AMVETS Post 45. He also leaves two sisters: Betty (Jack) Lovelady and Jan (Charlie) Neal, both of Paris; two brothers: Jackie Wilson of Henry and Jimmy (Sherrill) Wilson of Paris; three nephews; one niece; and two great-nephews. He also was preceded in death by a nephew. Memorials may be made to Henry County Hospice, 311 E. Wood St., Paris. |
