Sarah Frances Smith, 69, of Paris died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at Henry County Medical
Center. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. John Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Chosen as pallbearers are Brandon Smith, Jody Caldwell, Mike Hendrix, Kyle Beasley and Gary and Ray Hubbard. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Born in Paris on July 21, 1938, she was a daughter of Isom James Hubbard and Lockie Bell Hastings Hubbard, now both deceased. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she was a former secretary. She was a former bookkeeper at Paris Manor Nursing Center. She leaves one son: Rick M. Smith of Harriman; one daughter: Kim (Butch) Goble of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers: Glen (Mary Jo) Hubbard of Buchanan and Dudley (Suedell) Hubbard of Paris; Seven grandchildren: Bridget Hendrix, Ricarda and Ryan Hill, Kyle and Kory Beasley and Brandon and Candace Smith; and three great-grandchildren: Destiny, DeShawn and Kyla Marshall. She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Cynthia Loren Smith; and a sister: Illa Mae Jackson. |
