Ann Davis Shawhan June 8, 1939 - July 19, 2008 A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date at Johnson Chapel Cemetery for Ann Davis Shawhan. Mrs. Shawhan of Sun City, Arizona was formerly of Paris, TN. The daughter of the late William Douglas Davis and Myrtle Brown Davis. Survived by her husband John B. Shawhan, Aunt; Ann (Jack) Brown, St. Albans, West VA, Uncle; Curtis (Mary Louise) Davis, CA, Special Cousin; Cindy Endicott, Spring, TX and several other cousins. A 1957 Graduate of E.W. Grove High School and graduated from a Nashville Business College, Retired secretary and homemaker. She was a Methodist. Memorials may be made to the Henry County Humane Society. Ann Davis Shawhan June 8, 1939 - July 19, 2008 Former Parisian Ann Davis Shawhan, 69, of Sun City, Ariz., died July 19, 2008, in Sun City after a long illness. The body was cremated. She was married Jan. 26, 1970, to John B. Shawhan, who survives. A memorial graveside service is planned at 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Henry County. There will be no visitation. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge. Born June 8, 1939, in Paris, she was the daughter of William Douglas and Myrtle Brown Davis, both deceased. A 1957 graduate of Grove High School, she also was a Nashville Business College graduate. She retired as a secretary. She also was a homemaker and a Methodist. She leaves an aunt: Ann (Jack) Brown of St. Albans, W.Va.; an uncle: Curtis (Mary Louise) Davis of California; a special cousin: Cindy Endicott of Spring, Texas; and several other cousins.
