Paris native Clarence Edward “Ed”
Scott, 69, of Knoxville died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at his residence. His wife of 40 years, Julie Scott, survives. The body was cremated. No service is planned. Born Oct. 5, 1939, he was the son of Clarence Cortez Scott and Butonne Scott, both deceased. Scott was a Grove High School graduate. He attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and earned a degree in veterinary medicine from Auburn (Ala.) University. In addition to his wife, he leaves a son: Brent Scott of Columbia, Md.; a daughter: Amy (Andy) Foxwell of Chattanooga; two sisters: Mary (Don) Laster of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., and Joann Lamb of Little Rock, Ark.; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to any animal welfare organization. |
