Paris native and former daycare center
operator and nursing home worker Judy Carol Sanders, 61, of McKenzie died Saturday, Nov.
24, 2007, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Earl Phelps will officiate. Burial will follow in Bevil Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Tracey Maupin, Blair Peppers, Michael and Randy Fowler, Mike Limbaugh, Robby Miller, Terry Wells and Matt Kelley. Danny Hosford will be an honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Born Nov. 24, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Dora Lee Smith Gansner. Sanders was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She formerly worked at Paris Manor Nursing Center and Henry County Nursing Home. She leaves one daughter: Kelly Sanders Kelley of McKenzie; a brother-in-law: Jimmy Maupin of Henry; one niece: Tammy (Terry) Wells of Paris; one nephew: Tracey (Melissa) Maupin of Paris; and two grandchildren: Morgan Limbaugh and Chase Kelley, both of McKenzie. She also was preceded in death by a sister: Donna Maupin. |
