Former Henry Countian Lynn M.
Perry, 69, of Plano, Texas, died at 5 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Plano
Medical Center. His wife, Beth Perry, survives. Perry donated his body to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for cancer research. A memorial dinner in his honor is planned later in Plano. Perry was a son of the late George and Myra Perry, who lived in Paris. He graduated from Grove High School and spent four years in the Navy. He then began his career working at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala. After starting work there, he received his degree as a mechanical engineer. He eventually became a consultant for different corporations and had since resided in the Dallas area. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons: Lynn Perry Jr. and Al Perry; a sister: Gail Perry Schmidt of Paducah; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one stepdaughter; two stepsons; and six stepgrandchildren. He also was preceded in death by a brother: Don L. Perry, who was a Paris resident. |
