Martha Lane Morris Neese ~ Obituary

Martha Lane Morris Neese, 85, of Paris, died Friday, November 25, 2005, at Paris Manor Nursing Center in Paris.

Funeral services for Mrs. Neese were held Monday, November 28, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Perry McCall (nephew) and Rev. Jerry Massey officiated the services.
Mrs. Neese was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class, Women's Missionary Union and Keanagers.

She graduated in 1939 from E.W. Grove High School and she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Neese was born August 27, 1920 in Henry County to the late Conrad B. Morris and Ruth Douglass Morris. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neese was also preceded in death by her husband, whom she married October 8, 1939, Fred Talley Neese; a sister, Marjorie Jane LaJoye; and a brother, Harold Morris.

Mrs. Neese is survived by a son, William R. (Susan) Neese of Paris; three sisters, Sue Mackey Taylor of Memphis, Carolyn Maldonado of Frazier, Michigan, and Julia Ann McCall of Memphis; and one granddaughter, Ellen Ruth Neese.
