'Gerry' McCutcheon
The funeral service for Geraldine McCutcheon of Paris will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at
Ridgeway Funeral Home. Paul Veazey will
officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers are Jay and Danny McCutcheon, Tommy Counts and Leon, Earon and
Michael Rogers.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 1 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. McCutcheon, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, at
Henry County Healthcare Center.
Born July 9, 1920, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late William Dudley Hurt and Dona
Harris Hurt.
She was married on Aug. 13, 1939, to Earon Blaylock "E.B."
McCutcheon, who died June 13, 1977.
Mrs. McCutcheon was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked at Holley carburetor
plant, formerly of Paris.
She was a former deputy in the Henry County property assessor's office for 20 years and a
former social worker with the Office on Aging. She also was
a former member and president of the Paris Lioness Club.
She leaves one son: Bill McCutcheon of Paris; one daughter: Betty Carol (Leon) Rogers of
Bartlett;
Five grandchildren: Danny (Crissy) McCutcheon of Paris, Donna (Tommy) Counts of Mansfield,
Jay (Samantha) McCutcheon of Murfreesboro,
Earon (Cindy) Rogers of Memphis and Michael Rogers of Bartlett; and
Six great-grandchildren: Gatlin, Grace and Griffin Paschall, Jordan Counts, and Earon
Justin Rogers and Owen Daniel Rogers.
She also was preceded in death by a grandchild: Nicole Rogers; a
great-grandchild: Dylan Counts; and a brother in infancy. |
