John Ralph Manning went to his new
home October 21, 2004. Retired 21 years from US Air Force & 18 years from
private business. He was owner of Safeway Taxi Company in Oklahoma City. He lived in McKenzie, TN from 1943-1990 where he was active in the Henry County Saddle Club. He was also active in Masonic work in Paris and McKenzie, Tennessee. He was a Past Master. His parents, grandparents, & granddaughter Donna preceded him. Survived by wife of 57 years the former Peggy Jones; brother Don A. Manning; sister Jean See; sons: John, Don & Charles; daughters: Angela & Cindy; grandchildren: Don, Sumer, Dustin, Cassandra, & Crystal; great grandchildren: Tyler, Noah, Nicolas, & Zachary. Horseracing, Tractor work, & gold mining were his hobbies. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday Oct. 25, 2004 at the Bill Eisenhour SE Chapel with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens. Celebration of life to follow at 13700 South Douglas Blvd, Guthrie, OK 73044. |
