Priscilla Parrish Lemons, 66, of
Springville, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at her residence. Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church where Lemons was a long-time member and served as a former trustee. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Robert Martin will officiate. Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Sunday at McEvoy and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church. She served on the board of directors for Plus Endowment and was a board member of Helping Hand Inc. She was a human resources manager at Plumley Rubber, Dana Corp. and was a former school teacher in Knoxville and Sledge, Miss. Lemons was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Murray to the late Herman Edward and Elizabeth Hurt Parrish. She was married Aug. 20, 1966, to Sam Lemons, who survives. She is survived by a son: Patrick (Brandi) Lemons of Dyersburg; two brothers: Glenn (Lilabeth) Parrish of Knoxville and Mark (Tanya) Parrish of Kingston Springs; and two grandchildren: Elizabeth and Thomas Lemons.
