The funeral service for former
Henry Countian Marilyn Jobe Hendricks of Easley, S.C., was at 2 p.m. Friday
at First Baptist Church in Easley, where she was a member. The Rev. John Adams officiated. Burial followed in Robinson Memorial Gardens in Easley. Visitation was Friday. Robinson Funeral Home in Easley was in charge. Hendricks, 62, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Paris on June 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Ben A. and Mary H. Jobe, who owned Howard & Jobe in Paris. Her husband, Jack Bennett Hendricks, preceded her in death. A Furman University graduate, she was a retired teacher, piano teacher and director of the First Baptist Church Development Center in Easley. She leaves one son, Brian Hendricks of Easley; one daughter, Heather (Bill) Vinson of Carey, N.C.; one brother, Ben Jobe Jr. of Nashville; and two grandchildren, Bennett and Ian Vinson.
