The funeral service for former Paris
resident Elizabeth Cole Clark, 85, of Springfield will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridgeway
Funeral Home. Martin Babb will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden. Selected as pallbearers are Joe Casey, Luke Welch, Gerald Howard, Lou Carter, Danny Veazey, George Wofford and Mike and Michael McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Britton, Bob Haley and Dave Loudy. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and after noon Sunday. Born Sept. 20, 1922, in Cottage Grove, she was the daughter of Frank Eugene Cole and Era Johnson Cole. Clark was a former secretary at Grove Junior High School in Paris. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris and the former Chickasaw Garden Club. She leaves one daughter: Amy Elizabeth Grassham of Chapmansboro; two brothers: Ardelle Cole of Paris and Joe Frank Cole of Thomaston, Ga.; and a grandchild: Ashley Grassham of Chapmansboro. She also was preceded in death by a brother: Bob Cole. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 313 N. Poplar St., Paris or the American Heart Association, P.O.
