Jimmy William Bruce ~ Obituary

The funeral service for former Paris resident and retired banker Jimmy William Bruce of Memphis was planned at 1 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Burial was to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.

Bruce, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013.

He was the son of the late Pearl Freeland Bruce and a graduate of Grove High School.

Bruce retired from First Tennessee Bank and was a member of First Congregational Church in Memphis.

He leaves three sisters: Virginia L. Luker, Helen B. Bryan and Martha A. Lamb, all of Memphis; and some cousins, who live in Henry County.

Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church.
