Larry Brogdon The funeral service for native Henry Countian Larry D. Brogdon of Nashville was planned at 11 a.m. today at Eastland Funeral Home in Nashville. Burial was to follow at 3 p.m. at Olive Branch Cemetery near Cottage Grove, according to a sister: Pat (Gordon) Jackson of Puryear. Brogdon, 64, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Born March 15, 1942, he was a son of the late John and Lorene Brogdon. He retired as a mason and was a 1960 Grove High School graduate. He leaves one daughter: Kimberley (Dale) Jarrett of White House; a stepson: Roger Brogdon of Joelton; two brothers: Elwood (Christine) Brogdon of Puryear and Joe (Ann) Brogdon of Goodlettsville; Six other sisters: Candy (Bobby) Morgan of White House, Alice (Ed) Reasoner of Goodlettsville, Sandra Bullen of Hendersonville, Johnnie (Clyde) Willis of Murfreesboro, Bonnie Collins of St. Louis and Betina Brumbaugh of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He also was preceded in death by a brother: Macon Brogdon; and a sister: Geraldine Brewer. January 22, 2007 |
