She was retired from Memphis City Schools.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Corbin and Andrea Bingham (Matthew); grandchildren René Willoughby, Kayla Corbin, Sara Owens, Matthew Owens, and Annslee Bingham; great-grandson, Bryceton Willoughby; siblings, Charles Hopkins, Barbara Montgomery, and Sherry Fulton. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arlon Hopkins, Fred Hopkins, and Gerald Hopkins. Services will be private.
