Former Parisian Helen Lazette Hoover, 81, of St. George, Utah, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, after a long illness. No service is planned. Serenity Funeral Home in St. George is in charge of arrangements. Hoover was born Dec. 5, 1934, in Paris to the late John “Pete” and Alma Lee Crouch. She was married to D.R. Hoover, who preceded her in death. A graduate of Grove High School, she moved to Plano, Ill., after her marriage and worked at Dial Inc. in Montgomery, Ill., until her retirement. She then moved to Cody, Wyo., and later to Beaver Dam, Ariz. She is also survived by two daughters: Jennifer Hoover (Brian) Falk and Rebecca Hoover (Mark) Rexrode; three grandchildren: Brittany Burroughs, Kathryn Wulforst and Michael Rexrode; Five great-grandchildren; a sister: Betty Tolnay; a niece: Michelle Crouch; a nephew: Tony Mathes; and several cousins, both locally and across the country. She also was preceded in death by a brother: John Franklin Crouch; and two nephews: Jeff and Chris Crouch. |
