Sue Rainey

Henry County native Winnie Sue Rainey, 82, of Orlando, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in Orlando, according to her sister, Charlie Underwood of Paris.

A graveside service was conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimmee, Fla.

Baldwin-Fairchild Pine Castle Funeral Home in Orlando handled arrangements.

Born June 16, 1930, in Paris, she was a daughter of the late Wade and Fannie Wood Jackson.

Rainey was a member of Downtown Baptist Church in Orlando and the Central Florida Metal Detecting Club.

She also leaves two sons: Skip (Jennifer) Rainey of Durham, N.C., and Charles (Ann) Rainey of Orlando; three nephews: Doug Underwood of Paris, Hugh Underwood of Dallas and Traci U. Mattingly of Clarksville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
