Paris native Patsy Currier Key, 92, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012. She had lived in Murfreesboro since 2000, after residing 22 years in Fairfield Glade.

Her sister, Mary Belle Beard, lives in Paris.

A private memorial service is planned later at Woodfin Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Her body will be donated to Vanderbilt University for medical education.

Born Sept. 14, 1919, she was a daughter of the late John Nathaniel and Ruby Edwards Currier.

Her husband, Enos L. Key, preceded her in death.

She was a member of Fairfield Glade Community Church.

She also leaves one son: Joe E. (Carol) Hamlet of Morristown; three daughters: Carolynn Hamlet of West Chester, Pa., Patty (John) Marschel of Murfreesboro and Cindy (George) Cole of Boston; a stepdaughter: Diane (John) Ehrman of Bluffton, S.C.; four grandchildren: Elisa (Sonny) Lethcoe of Knoxville, Chris Hamlet of Greenville, N.C., Elizabeth (Kenny) Pellegrini of Boston and Zach Cole of San Francisco; and a stepgranddaughter: Meghan Bartley of New York City.
