Sarah Elizabeth Seay Inman
(June 26, 1926 - January 23, 2015)

Funeral service 2:00PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Rob Martin, First United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

Named as pallbearers are Rickey Searcy, Bo Griffey, Bob Stutzman, Bill Jelks, John Conger and Bob Leach. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Walter P. Griffey, Charles McMillan, Caldwell "Red" Boden and the Grove High School Class of 1944.

Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Thursday and after 12:00 Noon Friday until service time.

She was born in Fulton, KY to the late Ira Willie Lankford Seay. On June 25, 1949 she married Walter Griffey Inman, Sr., he preceded March 10, 2008.

Survived by a daughter: Ann Inman (Donny) Plunk, Bartlett; sons: Walter G. (Barbara) Inman, Jr., Odessa, FL, Paul Douglas (Debbie) Inman, Greensboro, NC; grandchildren: Jim (Jodi) Plunk, Liz Plunk Gower, Clayton Inman, Jacob Inman; great-grandchildren: Ellie Plunk, Charlotte Plunk, Oliver Plunk, Sarah Gower and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.

Preceded by a sister: Ann Douglas Briglia.

Mrs. Inman was a graduate of Grove High School class of 1944, UT Knoxville Class of 1948 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economic. She was a bookkeeper at The Paris Post Intelligence and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paris where she was a member of the women’s Bible class. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her love of family, her marvelous cooking, and her enjoyment of her flowers, her birds and her yard. Proverbs 31: 30, “Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears The Lord is to be praised.”
