Larry Humphreys Arnett, 60, of Paris died Friday,
Dec. 11, 2009, at his residence.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home The Rev. Megan Huston will officiate. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are William Atchison, Rob Arnett, Carl Holder, Barton Robison, Bo Caldwell and Charles Marlow. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Born in Paris on Nov. 15, 1949, he was a son of the late Robert Edmonds Arnett, who died May 12, 1990, and Ruth Humphreys Arnett, who died Feb. 10, 2007. Arnett was a graduate of Grove High School and the University of Mississippi. He was a member of First Christian Church. He was self-employed and enjoyed collecting rare books and memorabilia. He formerly lived in Memphis. He leaves a brother: Edmond (Jackie) Arnett of Nashville; a half brother: Robert C. Arnett of Nashville; a nephew: Robert Edmonds Arnett II of Brentwood; and several cousins. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 101 S. Poplar St., Paris. |
